InPronunci: Accent Training App

AI Accent Coach Guidelines

Before students use AI feedback, they need to understand the correct practice order. InPronunci is designed to help students practice first, compare carefully, then use Advanced AI Accent Coach evaluation as you speak to improve American pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, melody, connected speech, sentence flow, and speaking clarity.

The correct order

Six steps before you trust your score

The AI Accent Coach in InPronunci works best when students follow a guided training sequence. The goal is not to chase a number. The goal is to improve how closely your pronunciation, rhythm, melody, intonation, word stress, sentence stress, and sentence flow match the native-speaker model.

1

Listen first

Start by listening to the native-speaker model. Do not rush to record. First, notice the sound, rhythm, melody, intonation, stress, and flow.

2

Use Practice Mode

Practice Mode helps you accommodate, adopt, and integrate American flow before evaluation. Repeat the model several times before you ask AI to score you.

3

Repeat until it feels controlled

Practice the word, word combination, sentence, or paragraph multiple times. Move forward only when you feel you can say it close to the native-speaker model.

4

Compare carefully

Use your listening awareness. Compare the model with your pronunciation. Notice if the sound, stress, rhythm, melody, intonation, or sentence flow is different.

5

Evaluate with AI

Now use Evaluation and Feedback Mode. Advanced AI Accent Coach evaluation as you speak looks beyond one word or one sound and checks your full speech performance.

6

Adjust and try again

If the score is lower, listen again, adjust your pronunciation, rhythm, melody, intonation, word stress, sentence stress, or sentence flow, and record again.

Your Coach vs. My Pronunci is part of the process

The AI Accent Coach workflow also includes the Your Coach vs. My Pronunci Pronunciation Comparison Tool. Your Coach is the native-speaker model. My Pronunci is the student’s own recorded pronunciation.

This comparison helps students listen, compare, notice differences, and adjust their speech more consciously before they move deeper into Evaluation and Feedback Mode.

Why comparison matters

Students should not only look at a score. They should compare their pronunciation with the native-speaker model and ask: Did I match the sound? Did I match the rhythm? Did I match the melody, intonation, word stress, sentence stress, and sentence flow?

This is how InPronunci turns AI feedback into a real learning process instead of a simple pronunciation score.

How InPronunci AI feedback works

Advanced AI Accent Coach evaluation as you speak does not only score one isolated sound or one word. It evaluates American pronunciation, sound accuracy, intonation, melody, rhythm, connected speech, sentence flow, word stress, sentence stress, and overall speaking clarity.

That is why students need to practice in the same way the model speaks. A word is not only a word. A sentence is not only a group of words. American speech has flow, stress, rhythm, melody, and intonation.

What students should focus on

Pronounce the word as close as possible to the native-speaker model.
Keep the same rhythm and melody when moving from words to sentences.
Follow the model’s intonation, word stress, and sentence stress.
Use paragraph practice to carry the same habits into longer speech.
Try multiple attempts. Improvement often appears after careful repetition and adjustment.

For Advanced level students

If you choose the Advanced level, your job is to mimic the native-speaker model as closely as possible. You need to maintain pronunciation accuracy while following the same intonation, melody, rhythm, word stress, sentence stress, and sentence flow.

If your score is lower, it does not always mean only one sound is wrong. It may mean your rhythm, stress, melody, intonation, or connected speech does not yet fit the native-speaker model.

Tip from Prof. Alex

Practice with Practice Mode multiple times before moving to Evaluation and Feedback Mode. First, make sure you can pronounce the word as closely as possible to the native-speaker model. Then, when you move to sentences and paragraphs, maintain the same pronunciation accuracy while also following the rhythm, intonation, melody, word stress, and sentence stress.

When you make multiple attempts, listen carefully, adjust your speech, and try again, you can see your score improve. That improvement means you are training your speaking skills more consciously and building steadier American pronunciation habits.

Choose the right evaluation level

Intermediate and Advanced levels are part of the AI Accent Coach

InPronunci gives students different AI Accent Coach evaluation levels because learners have different speaking backgrounds and different goals. Students should choose the level that matches their current speaking ability and the level of precision they want to develop.

Intermediate level

Intermediate level is for students who want clearer American pronunciation, stronger intonation, better rhythm, more confident sentence flow, and clearer everyday or professional communication.

Best for students who are building clearer American speech habits.
Helpful for meetings, interviews, presentations, school, work, and daily communication.
Focuses on clarity, pronunciation control, intonation awareness, rhythm, and speaking confidence.

Advanced level

Advanced level is for students whose goal is deeper speaking control, long-term speech improvement, public speaking strength, and speech that sounds closer to the native-speaker model.

Best for advanced English speakers who want more precise American pronunciation and intonation.
Evaluates pronunciation, sound accuracy, rhythm, melody, connected speech, word stress, sentence stress, sentence flow, and speaking clarity more seriously.
Students should mimic the native-speaker model as closely as possible before judging the score.
